COVID-19 / Health Insurance for travel to France
  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity after your intended departure from the Schengen Area and at least 2 blank visa pages. Please do NOT send your original passport.

  • Passport-type photograph. Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

  • Proof of residency. Copy of driver's license, state issued ID, or major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage) for the most recent month, showing the applicant's name and current address.

  • Health insurance. Proof of international health insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, specifically covering travel to Schengen states is required. The policy should cover all expenses for repatriation, emergency medical aid, and hospital treatment for the period of stay. Applicants can get a free quote and purchase valid travel insurance from our affiliate.

  • Enrollment Letter. Please provide a copy of letter confirming your enrollment from university/college/school in the destination country, including: name, address, and registration number with the Department of Education in France, full payment of tuition, duration of the program, subjects of study, and hours per week of study, which must be at least 20.

  • Financial Support. Proof of financial means, at least $700 USD per month of stay. Accepted forms: A letter from the school in France assuming full financial responsibility during your stay, proof of financial aid or scholarship, personal bank statements, or a notarized letter from the parents or legal guardians guaranteeing support. Please follow notarization instructions.

    France COVID-19 travel restrictions

    • Entry is open
      Vaccinated travelers can enter France with no restrictions linked to health conditions. The measures applicable to vaccinated adults also apply to any minors accompanying them, whether they are vaccinated or not.

      Required travel documents are the following:

      - Proof of vaccination. (It will only be valid if it proves that you are fully vaccinated).
      - Seven days after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxevria and Covishield).
      - Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson).
      Prior to arrival requirements
      Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
      Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.
      Negative COVID-19 test. Anyone arriving to France, will be required to present a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. Vaccinated travelers from green countries are not required to present negative test results. These include the European space, as well as Australia, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea.

      Permitted arrivals from Afghanistan, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Paraguay, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Russia, Seychelles, Namibia and Uruguay will be required to present a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours.

      Upon arrival restrictions
      🏠Quarantine: Anyone arriving to France from the orange country list, will be required to self-quarantine for 7 days. Vaccinated arrivals are exempted.

      Permitted arrivals from red countries are required to quarantine for 10 days. Vaccinated arrivals from these countries are exempt, as well as children under the age of 12, if arriving with vaccinated adults.
